History

Karia Princess Hotel has taken its’ name from the Carian Princess who used to rule the region around Bodrum (Halicarnassus), at the time of Alexander the Great. When Karia Princess opened its’ doors in 1995, it was the first 5 star hotel of the region. A joint venture by the founders; Mr and Mrs İmre who were inpired by the small, yet elegant European hotels they had visited overtime and decided to build a warm, family owned hotel in this small Aegean town.

Today, Karia Princess has adopted the boutique hotel concept and still continues to be run by the Imre family. The building has gone through extensive renovation in 2005, only to polish up what had been painstakingly created in 1987. With 13 years of experience behind us, we continue to give the best service with the friendliest staff, only to have our guests return with the best of memories.
